Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year hospital or clinic experience, BLS certification, and strong English, handwriting, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hospital experience as health unit coordinator or in medical office/outpatient clinic
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong English spelling and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient data/documents and charting
• Notify physicians and departments as needed and ensure proper charting
• Place medications in secure areas and support unit operations
