Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. in Eagan, MN is seeking a Freight Handler to join the Operations team. This safety-sensitive role involves loading and unloading freight from trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, and/or handcart, with training provided to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

The position is non-exempt, reports to the Operations Supervisor, and offers a $26.00 per hour wage for a midnight–8 a.m. shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; occasional up to 90 pounds.
• At least 6 months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand carts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify freight condition to meet quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
