Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for the night shift 6:00pm-6:30am, to safely move materials and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include operating forklift, daily inspections, shipping/receiving, quality checks, and teamwork with office staff to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• PIT training and forklift certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in daily pre-shift meetings and team stretching.
• Operate forklift in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.
• Complete daily forklift inspections; report and remove from service if defects are found.
• Accurately ship and receive products, performing Quality Reassurance Checks (QRC).
• Identify and address safety issues or infractions on the warehouse floor.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation and paperwork.
• Accurately fulfill customer orders, including special instructions.
• Collaborate with office staff to resolve discrepancies and issues efficiently.
