Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator for the Gaylord, Minnesota facility. You will transport materials using a small industrial vehicle, support warehouse organization, and maintain product quality and operational flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, PIT training, English literacy, and strong math skills. Pay ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour with safety and GMP adherence emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must complete a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training program and pass forklift certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong math and configuration skills; ability to assess situations safely.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in daily pre-shift meetings and team stretching.
• Operate forklift safely, efficiently, and productively.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and remove equipment from service if defects are found.
• Accurately ship and receive products and perform Quality Reassurance Checks (QRC).
• Identify and address safety issues on the warehouse floor.
• Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork.
• Fulfill customer orders, including special instructions.
• Collaborate with office staff to resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized and ensure proper pallet storage.
• Promote a team-oriented work environment with positive communication.
• Follow GMPs and uphold food safety and quality standards.
