Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Material Handler/Hilo Driver in the Kentwood, MI area to support an automotive supplier. The role involves moving materials, operating a hi-lo, and ensuring safe handling and accurate inventory.

The position is on-site, with a 3rd shift from 9:50pm to 6:00am and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus retirement and tuition reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hi-lo/forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of material handling and inventory processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Operate hi-lo and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use RF scanners and inventory systems to track materials.
• Support inventory accuracy and production flow.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.
