Job summary

The Forklift Operator at Novo Building Products in Dallas will move products and pallets around the warehouse using RF scanners, ensuring accurate location labeling and safe transport to designated areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and physically capable.
• Move lengths and weights safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating a forklift rated 6,500 lb.
• Use PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move product and pallets safely throughout the warehouse.
• Communicate discrepancies, product issues or safety concerns to supervision.
• Scan products with RF scanners to ensure correct locations and labels.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and free of debris.
• Anticipate business needs and group like products together.
• Complete Novo forklift training and follow safety requirements.
• Assist with standing items placement as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
