Job summary

LiDestri Foods in Fairport, NY is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 12-hour night shift (6pm-6:30am). This full-time role ensures receipt, storage and delivery of finished or raw product using RF scanners and pallet movement.

Responsibilities include moving inventory, unloading raw materials, loading outbound shipments, following GMP protocols, and maintaining a safe working environment. HS diploma or GED and prior forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience operating forklift in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use computer and math functions.
• Ability to use RF scanner guns and hand tools.
• Wear PPE such as bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, gloves and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanner guns to receive, move and ship inventory.
• Move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory.
• Follow GMP protocols and safety requirements.
• Unload raw materials and pallets, deliver to proper bays.
• Load outgoing trucks and prep orders; stage shipments.
• Report food safety and quality issues as needed.
