Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator at our Wheeling, IL service center. You will move freight up to 53-foot trailers in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.

Shifts begin at 12:00 am (Mon) and 2:00 am (Tue-Fri), with 8–10 hours per day. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, paid vacation/holidays, and lodging at exclusive employee resorts across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests and computer displays.
• Forklift experience required and prior forklift work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move freight safely onto and off of 53-foot trailers on a roofed dock.
• Read manifests and computer displays to ensure accurate handling.
