Job summary

Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Floor Nurse to provide medication administration, treatments, and resident care in our Skilled Nursing setting on a full-time weekend schedule. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and timely responses to emergencies, with rotations that include evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate has completed an approved nursing program and holds a current Arizona LPN or RN license, with CPR/First Aid and BLS/AED training.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed an approved nursing program.
• Current Arizona LPN or RN license required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certification with BLS and AED training.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Able to document care given.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20 lbs frequently and assisting with resident transfers up to 125 lbs, pushing up to 150 lbs in shower chairs or wheelchairs.
• Passionate about caring for others and always ready with a smile!

Responsibilities

• Administers medications.
• Administers treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catheterization, wound vacs, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
• Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
• Maintains accurate documentation of medication and treatment administration and care rendered.
• Accurate and thorough completion of skilled charting, change of condition, monthly charting, evaluations, and all other regulatory documentation as assigned.

Schedule: Alternating weeks: Tues/Wed/Fri then Wed/Thurs/Fri 6:00p-6:00a

Your Role

Who You Are

• Successfully completed an approved nursing program
• Current Arizona LPN or RN license required
