Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a Floor Care Associate to maintain floors across our facility, focusing on safety and cleanliness. You will operate auto-scrubbers and burnishers, coordinate with EVS and clinical teams, and work a 40-hour week with night hours.

This role offers medical, vision, and dental benefits starting within 30 days for regular 24 hrs/wk or more, plus a nightly/weekend holiday shift differential, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; equivalent experience considered.
• Floor care experience preferred; competency within 2 months if no experience.
• Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to operate floor care equipment safely (auto-scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, extractors).
• Stand for long periods; lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Mop, scrub, strip, and wax floors.
• Maintain floor appearance and safety across facilities.
• Coordinate with EVS and clinical teams; minimize disruption.
• Operate floor care equipment and report needed repairs.
