Job summary

AdventHealth Burleson, TX is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift RN to join the Float Pool. You will float to PCU, SSU and MedSurg, including ED holds, and pre-schedule 3–12 hour shifts per week within the 6-week scheduling cycle. The RN cannot schedule directly with individual departments and must meet 36 hours weekly.

The role requires RN licensure and BLS; PALS is preferred. You will be asked to schedule 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks and one major and one minor holiday per year.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• RN license required; BLS CPR required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education and discharge planning.
• Performs patient assessments and responds to emergencies.
• Coordinates care among disciplines and carries out orders.
• Maintains accurate patient records and communicates condition changes.
• Administers medications and treatments.
