Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring an Integration Technician (Falcon Operations) for night shift at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The role covers stage, assemble, and test of Falcon 9 hardware, adherence to strict work instructions, and collaboration with engineers to improve efficiency.

Required are a high school diploma and 2+ years of hands-on tech experience in aerospace or related fields; an A&P license or aerospace degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years hands-on technician experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, production, manufacturing, oil and gas, or a trade-skills program.
• Airframe & Powerplant License preferred.
• Associate degree in aerospace technology or related field preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to align project goals with end outcomes and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Stage, set up, assemble flight hardware and test equipment per instructions for Falcon 9 launch readiness.
• Follow complex work instructions with attention to detail to ensure high workmanship quality.
• Perform hands-on operations with both large and small ESD-sensitive assemblies.
• Operate mechanical tools and heavy machinery including torque wrenches.
• Conduct site preventative maintenance per asset management systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement operational improvements to reduce takt times.
