Job summary

SUMCO in Phoenix is seeking a Facilities Technician for the night shift to manage and maintain the plants’ HVAC and related systems. You will operate facilities equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot complex systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in facilities or semiconductor maintenance, understands complex mechanical systems, and can read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of direct experience in facilities HVAC, RODI, WWT, electrical, chemical handling, or equivalent military training.
• Two years or more of direct experience in semiconductor manufacturing or tool/equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, technical manuals and operations specifications.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness; self-motivated and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Operate facilities equipment via a Facilities Control and Monitoring System.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on equipment (HVAC, chillers, pumps, fire protection, etc.).
• Troubleshoot facilities equipment and failures.
• Collaborate with facilities teams and Fab owners on projects and training.
• Partner with Engineering on facilities projects.
• Shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM / compressed work schedule.
