Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure in the state of Florida or compact license required
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications per facility guidelines (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in line with nursing process and hospital protocols.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (CPR, code team).
• Provides patient and family education on condition, treatment, and discharge plans.
• Maintains infection control standards and safe practice in all procedures.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record and supports continuous quality improvement.
