Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Buda is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Emergency Department unit. This PRN role covers 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a level IV trauma setting.

The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, manage care plans, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment in Texas.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN licensure.
• BLS certification to be maintained (or obtained within 30 days).
• Minimum 2 years in a relevant nursing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize needs and create/adjust care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Observe patient indicators and apply evidence-based changes.
• Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families and staff.
• Communicate clearly with the healthcare team and patients.
• Collaborate to implement an integrated plan of care.
