Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department at the Hamilton campus. This per diem Night shift position involves providing safe and quality patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Requirements include ASN or Nursing diploma, active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and BSN preferred. Per diems may work weekends/holidays as needed, with hourly pay range listed below.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing diploma required.
• Active NJ Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care.
• Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures.
• Administers medications accurately and safely.
• Documents according to policies and procedures.
• Performs, demonstrates and documents technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Education

ASN or Nursing diploma

Active NJ Registered Nurse license

BSN preferred

BLS ACLS PALS from AHA required
