Job summary

McLaren Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Grand Ledge Emergency Department. You will deliver bedside nursing care within unit scope, following policies and standards of care, and collaborate with the care team to implement the plan of care.

Essential functions include patient assessment, care planning, and supervising ancillary staff. Active MI RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC timeframes apply per ED guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS required within six months for ED/ICU/critical care units; NRP for L&D; PALS for Pediatrics; PALS and TNCC within one year for the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each patient, documents and evaluates response to plan of care, and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
