Job summary

Hachette Book Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to locate and pick stock using wire-guided Turret trucks and Order Picking vehicles. You will update stock records in the WMS via handheld devices and RF monitors, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.

The role requires basic math, strong hand-eye coordination, and reliable attendance. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate multiple types of warehouse equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience with Walkie Rider, Counter Balance, Turret Truck and Order Picker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pick stock within timelines set by supervisor.

SUMMARY: To pick and locate stock using wire-guided Turret trucks and Order Picking vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Productivity-must work steadily to locate and pick stock within timelines established by the Night Bulk Storage Supervisor;
• Accuracy-verify stock counts and properly locate and pick product using warehouse vehicles;
• Update stock records on WMS utilizing computers on trucks and RF monitors;
• Work independently to meet established department standards;
• Communication-report any discrepancies or problems to supervisor or lead;
• Reliability-must be dependable in working established shift schedules;
• Special projects as assigned.
