Job summary

We are hiring an Emergency Services Tech to join our team at Cherokee Medical Center in Gaffney, SC. The role supports RNs by monitoring patients, reporting changes, and assisting in treatments while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Under supervision, you will help with vital signs, EKGs, documentation, and patient mobility. A willingness to learn and teamwork are essential for this fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include education as a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Licenses or Certifications such as EMT, CNA, PCA, surgical tech, or medical assistant are preferred.
• BLS certification is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or MD.
• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, treatments and minor procedures.
• Assist patients with turning, bathing, positioning, and ambulation.
• Restock supplies and ensure equipment is functioning and safe.
• Participate in mandatory education programs and maintain unit cleanliness and organization.
