Qualifications

• High School diploma for grandfathered Techs.
• Associate's degree or graduation from a CAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
• Must be eligible to obtain registry within 4 years of hire for grandfathered employees or within 2-3 years for employees with an associate degree or higher.
• AHA BLS-HCP & PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated individual.
• Aptitude for detailed record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Performs neurodiagnostic procedures on patients of all ages.
• Ensures quality studies.
• Assists in establishing recording criteria per AS EEG Technologists guidelines and manufacturers' guidance.
• Reviews and revises procedures annually.
• Coordinates laboratory schedule and prioritizes workload.
