Responsibilities

• Performs all EEG recordings: Awake, asleep, bedside and video EEGs.
• Summarizes patient neurologic status and clinical history from chart.
• Ensures patient comfort during testing to obtain optimal results and artifact-free EEGs.
• Maintains scalp prep and hair care for recording.
• Documents clinical observations during seizures and emergencies.
• Keeps records organized and in reading room.
• Ensures electrical safety and performs routine maintenance on equipment.
• Cleans EEG room and closes paste containers.
