Granite City Electric Supply Co., Inc in Methuen, MA is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. Typical hours are 7:00 PM–3:30 AM, Monday through Friday, delivering electrical materials to customers and GCE hubs with safe, on‑time service.

You will load, drive, unload, and maintain accurate paperwork. We offer competitive pay from $28 to $34 per hour depending on license and experience, plus strong benefits and a 40‑hour guarantee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of professional CDL driving experience.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and medical DOT card required.
• Experience with routing software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers in an efficient and safe manner.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and adheres to DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide first‑class delivery service.
• Provide feedback to supervisors to maintain route efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and participate in training as requested.
• Follow SOPs and ensure high order accuracy and on‑time delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Granite City is looking for a professional Driver to join our delivery team in Methuen, MA. Approximate hours are 7:00 PM-3:30 AM, Monday‑Friday. We offer competitive pay as well as incentives. The delivery driver will load the truck, drive to customer locations and other GCE hubs, unload, and deliver product in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. The candidate will maintain vehicle in good condition and ensure paperwork is current and accurate, and provide superior customer service, delivering product on‑time, accurately and professionally. Compensation ranges from $28.00 to $34.00 per hour depending on license and experience. We are open to non‑CDL, Class B, and Class A candidates.

Essential Functions

• Deliver material to customers in an efficient and safe manner.

• Effectively communicate with external customers while providing first‑class delivery service.
• Provide feedback to supervisors to maintain efficiency in driving routes.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of GCE policies and procedures, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Must always be professional and have a professional appearance.
• Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.
• Follow all SOPs for the position, maintain high order accuracy and on‑time delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years professional driving experience driving a CDL truck.
• Knowledge of and experience with forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, medical DOT card.
• Experience with routing software preferred.

Position Requirements

• Must hold a valid, unexpired CDL‑A or CDL‑B driver’s license and drive professionally.
• Must communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Must understand maps/GPS.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit.
• Can push/pull/lift up to 70 lbs repetitively.
• Can bend, twist and stoop frequently.
• Can climb in and out of truck routinely.
• Can work in all weather conditions.
