Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Dispatcher/Driver Manager to oversee CDL-A drivers on dedicated loads, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while meeting revenue and mileage goals. The role requires strong communication and computer skills, with experience in satellite tracking and TMW dispatch software.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in transportation dispatching is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee, dispatch and manage CDL-A drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Enforce driver HOS compliance and company policy
• Interface with central dispatch, customer service and customers
• Promote driver safety and safe work practices
• Update and interface with trucking systems
• Evaluate driver performance and compliance
