Job description

Red Stag LLC is seeking a skilled full-time dispatcher who serves as the primary point of communication for drivers and customers, receiving requests, transmitting messages, and tracking loads to support daily operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate daily milk pickup from various barns.

Communicate with dairy farms, truck drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of milk.

Monitor and track milk supply and demand to make necessary adjustments to delivery schedules.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer orders.

Monitor the temperatures of milk samples.

Resolve any delivery issues or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.

Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to dairy production and transportation.

Ensuring safe milk practices when handling milk.

Other related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatch or logistics.

Obtain and maintain a milk handler certification.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with drivers and customers.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Willingness to work a Panama schedule with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, on-call and after-hours, as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 25 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead.
