Job summary

Ced ar Ridge is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support eight residents in a residential setting and within the local community. The role involves overnight hours from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am, Thursday through Sunday, at Cedar Ridge in New York.

Training provided, including First Aid/CPR, Van Certification, and medication administration. Starting wages range from $18.56 to $20.42 per hour, with applicable shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-high-school human services training a plus.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and basic computer knowledge required.
• Training includes First Aid/CPR, Van Certification, and Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and in the community.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, safety, and community integration.
• Collaborate with team to promote independence and quality of life for eight residents at Cedar Ridge.
