Job summary

The Webb City R-7 School District is seeking a Night Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, assist with special events, and support daily operations.

Attention to safety, reliable attendance, and the ability to operate cleaning equipment are essential. This full-time role reports to the Director of Maintenance and requires compliance with district policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pass Background check.
• Pass Physical Capabilities Test.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks to meet changing job descriptions.
• Ability to operate equipment used in maintenance of the building.
• Adhere to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site snow removal for the purpose of ensuring access and safety.
• Attend meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. to gather information required to perform job functions.
• Clean assigned facilities and/or grounds to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Deliver items to appropriate parties within the facility.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed with the facility.
• Participate in training and drills with students and staff to ensure emergency procedures are effective.
• Keep building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Open/close the facility as required for the position.
• Comply with storage and disposal of trash and waste.
