Responsibilities include securing the building, cleaning floors and restrooms, sweeping and dusting, maintaining supplies, and supporting after-hours activities. Applicants should be reliable, able to work independently, and prepared to handle winter weather tasks

Responsibilities

• Be in the assigned building at all times except when custodial responsibilities require assistance.
• Close the building each school day and ensure all doors, windows, and lights are secured.
• Activate and deactivate the building security systems.
• Scrub and disinfect floors and restrooms daily; replace soap and paper supplies.
• Sweep classrooms and hallways daily; vacuum carpeted areas as needed.
• Wash windows inside and outside when necessary; dust surfaces and furniture.
• Shovel, plow, and apply ice melt on walks as appropriate.
• Remain on school premises during school hours and during non-school hours when the building is authorized.
