Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance in Honolulu seeks a Custodial Lead Night Porter to guide a night crew in maintaining a pristine commercial facility. You will lead by example, ensure efficient cleaning workflows, and report to the supervisor and property manager.

The role requires supervisory experience, a focus on details, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting safety and cleanliness standards for all areas including restrooms, lobbies, elevators and stairwells.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass prescreen check.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience required.
• Able to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift at least 30 pounds.
• Safe operation of cleaning equipment and tools.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a custodial team and communicate effectively with supervisor and property manager.
• Oversee cleaning of designated areas and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Restock supplies, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize, and maintain common areas.
• Ensure doors and security are properly managed and timelines met.
• Review employee time cards and support payroll submissions.
