Job summary

AdventHealth in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a CT/X-ray Technologist for a StaffFlex 13-week contract. Night shifts with 36 hours guaranteed and on-call requirements are part of the schedule. The role requires ARRT RT(R) and RT(CT) credentials, BLS, and an associate degree in radiologic technology.

Compensation listed as $91.73/hr plus differentials. Responsible for performing exams per established protocols, ensuring safety, infection control, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform radiologic exams using established protocols.
• Education in radiologic technology from an AMA approved program or JCERT accreditation.
• BLS certification required; ARRT RT(R), RT(CT) credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams with proper patient identification and education prior to the exam.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adapt protocols for patients of all ages.
• Minimize radiation exposure while following infection control standards and using PPE.
• Position patients and equipment to produce diagnostic images meeting Radiologist standards.
• Complete clerical duties and maintain patient records and scheduling.
• Provide direct patient care within technologist scope and maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain organized, clean exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and adjust imaging protocols as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
