Job summary

Green Bay ER & Hospital is seeking a CT/X-Ray Radiology Tech for full-time night shifts. The role involves operating CT imaging, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality scans with patient safety in mind.

Preferred candidates have ER experience and an Associate degree in radiologic technology, plus ARRT and BLS certifications. A sign-on bonus is offered and training will emphasize multi-modality skills within our ER setting.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in each modality is preferred.
• One year of ER hospital experience is preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent with one year of related experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to obtain detailed images of internal organs and tissues.
• Position patients accurately for scans to target body areas.
• Perform regular warm-up procedures on CT scanner to extend X-ray tube life.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure safety.
• Interpret and follow physician scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to improve imaging quality.
• Assess CT scans for technical quality and report deficiencies.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients for a comfortable experience.
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions or complications during procedures.
