Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role includes producing CT images, assisting with CT guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The position requires ARRT certification and an Ohio Radiographer License, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants. It involves night shifts (7p–7a) on a 5x12 schedule, with every other weekend and call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in various settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates patient care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to maintain comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and works with the CT team.
