Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital in Largo, FL seeks a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for night shifts. You will perform diagnostic CT exams across two off-campus sites and the main campus, delivering high-quality images and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program from an AMA-approved institution.
• Current ARRT (CT) certification.
• Florida licensed (CRT) with active status.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–3 years of diagnostic radiology experience, preferably in acute-care hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations with proper technical factors and high-quality imaging.
• Operate CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer and teleradiology systems.
• Assist with contrast administration and related procedures.
• Position patients while maintaining modesty and safety, using appropriate equipment.
• Document clinical information in MEDITECH and obtain informed consent.
• Produce high-quality CT images for interpretation and stay current with software protocols.
• Maintain communication with patients, radiologists and care colleagues.
• Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and manage cross-contamination risks.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.
