Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National Certification required from ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM) or NMTCB (CNMT).
• State Licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; CT license prior to hire (not in CO).
• Advanced CT Certification required within 18 months of hire (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)).
• BLS certification is required.
• Typically two years of clinical radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed imaging procedures following provider orders.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and treatments.
• Produces high quality radiographs and documents results timely.
• Maintains equipment quality control and a safe work environment.
• Ensures confidentiality and ethical handling of patient information.
• Supports department workflow and inventory management.
