Job summary

Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, TX is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging, prepare patients, position them correctly, and ensure high-quality images while following radiation safety protocols in an acute-care setting.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, BCLS, and 1–3 years of imaging experience, with the ability to work closely with radiologists in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• You must have a postsecondary Radiologic Technology credential.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, verify identity and clinical history.
• Administer contrast media under radiologist direction.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of procedures.
• Follow radiation safety practices to minimize exposure.
• Assist in quality control, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to contrast reactions and emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to optimize patient care.
• Pursue ongoing education to maintain ARRT certification.
