Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a CT Technologist to perform advanced CT imaging procedures and support radiologists in a diagnostic environment. You will ensure patient safety, prepare contrast media and maintain imaging quality.

The role requires ARRT certification (R) or CT, BLS, and preferred 1 year post-graduate experience. Night shifts (Nights Thurs-Sat 6:30p-7a) and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT R.T. (R) or ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) certification required or registry eligible.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
• Ensure knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
• Prepare for and assist radiologist in CT examinations, including biopsies and drainages.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as per regulations.
• Serve as liaison between patients and departmental physicians and staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure patient rights are protected.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships within and across departments.
• Participate in continuing education for optimal patient care.
