IU Health in Fort Wayne is seeking a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, prepare and position patients, and support a wide range of imaging needs in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes safety, patient care, and teamwork.

Candidates should have Basic Life Support, ARRT/NMTCB CT certification eligibility, and an Indiana ISDH license. The position offers a 1.0 FTE schedule (Mon–Fri, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM) with potential sign-on bonuses and future scheduling adjustments.

Competenze

0-3 years of relevant experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Registry/certification in CT within 12 months of hire.
Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
ARRT or NMTCB certification required/active within 12 months.

Mansioni

Operates CT scanner and positions patients.
Screens patients for safe scanning and contrast administration.
Obtains IV access and administers contrast as required.
Adjusts scan parameters and selects appropriate protocol.
Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians; follows radiation safety protocols.
Performs routine QC and documents information in EMR.
Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
