Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant CT/radiology experience
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and prepares/positions patients
• Screens patients for safety and contrast administration
• Obtains IV access and administers contrast as needed
• Knows scan protocols and selects appropriate protocol
• Adjusts scan parameters for diagnostic quality
• Collaborates with radiologists and physicians
• Follows radiation safety protocols and performs QC on equipment
• Maintains EMR documentation and continuing education
• Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed
