Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care in Lenoir, NC is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams and related invasive procedures under the Radiologist, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.

The position operates 1pm–1am with rotating weekends, offering a 40-hour work week onsite in the CT SCAN unit. Qualifications include ARRT registration (or registry eligible), CPR, and AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Clinical rotation through a hospital setting during training, or completion of a certified CT program, or one year experience as a CT Technologist.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible.
• CPR training; ability to inject iodinated contrast material; leadership and supervision of student technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams and invasive procedures with Radiologist to achieve high-quality images.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team and physicians to support patient care.
• Provide diagnostic quality images for interpretation and maintain professional image of the department.
