Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market is looking for a Stocker to ensure shelves are stocked and the store remains welcoming for customers.

Day shifts involve stocking, organizing displays, and helping shoppers while overnight shifts focus on deliveries, stock replenishment, and display resets without customer traffic. You will also move items from backroom to floor and rotate inventory to keep aisles tidy and accessible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Operate pallet jacks and balers safely after training.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including day, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.
• Compliance with safety, sanitation and dress policies.
• Prior retail, stocking or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves on the sales floor and assist customers with locating items.
• Prepare store for next day by handling deliveries, stocking, and resetting displays during overnights.
• Move products from backroom to the sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Maintain clean, organized aisles and ensure accurate labeling and pricing.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures during stocking tasks.
• Adapt to varied shifts including day, evening and overnight.
