Job summary

ShopRite of Hackensack is seeking a Night Crew Chief (Non-Exempt) to supervise all Night Crew Department activities and lead Associates to achieve department goals. This role emphasizes safety, customer experience, presentation, and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires leadership, the ability to train new hires, and collaboration with Store Management. Physical requirements include lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Night Crew Department and its associates to achieve department goals (sales, profit, customer experience, and associate engagement).
• Lead associates to achieve department goals and maintain safety, presentation, and efficiency.
• Ensure proper stocking, pricing, blocking, facing, and appearance of merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; adhere to safety and health policies.
