Job summary

ShopRite seeks a Night Crew Chief at the Wall Township store (ShopRite of Wall) to lead the Night Crew department, drive safety, presentation, and efficiency, and ensure excellent customer service. The position requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, work varying shifts, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Night Crew functions to meet department goals.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper operation of equipment.
• Train, coach, and develop department associates.
• Maintain accurate invoices and records.
• Keep merchandise stocked, labeled, and properly displayed.
• Monitor department budgets and shrink.
• Maintain punctual attendance and overtime as needed.
