Job summary

ShopRite of Wallington in Wallington, NJ is seeking a Night Crew Chief (Non-Exempt) to direct and supervise the Night Crew Department. The role reports to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager and focuses on safety, presentation, efficiency, and customer experience.

Key responsibilities include leading associates, onboarding new hires, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and maintaining proper staffing to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Night Crew Department and Associates.
• Lead the team to achieve department goals including sales, profit, customer experience and engagement.
• Ensure safety, friendliness, presentation and efficiency standards are followed.
• Maintain proper staffing and training of department Associates.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures.
