Job summary

Price Rite Johnston is seeking a Night Crew Chief to ensure pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise in the grocery area, presenting a clean, well-stocked store image. You will also perform other duties as needed to support store operations.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math, ability to stand, bend, lift up to 60 lbs, operate a Telxon scanner, and push/pull equipment. This is a on-site Johnston, RI position with opportunities to grow within Price Rite.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to bend and reach.
• Lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
• Operate a Telxon scanner.
• Push/pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product.

Responsibilities

• Monitor that night crew clerks price, stock, face and rotate merchandise to convey a neat, stocked store image.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and comply with dress code.
• Observe store hours as scheduled by the store manager.
• Follow health and civil code regulations and ensure customer satisfaction with correctly priced items.
• Rotate product on shelf and backroom to ensure freshest stock.
• Build displays and organize backroom stock; unload trucks as needed.
• Operate the bailer and power equipment as required.
• Ring up night crew purchases and follow security procedures.
