Ocean State Job Lot's Price Rite location in Wethersfield, CT is seeking an Assistant Night Crew Chief to oversee pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of grocery merchandise to present an attractive, well-stocked store image. The role supports daily operations and enforces company policies with safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• The minimum qualifications include reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to follow directions and work while standing.
• Ability to bend, reach and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Experience operating a Telxon and basic cash handling.
• Ability to operate power equipment and maintain store security systems.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise in grocery area.
• Maintain a neat, clean, well-stocked store image.
• Follow local, state and company policies and safety guidelines.
• Operate the register for night crew cash handling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
