Job Summary

The Night Crew Lead maintains standards in the sales area and stocks shelves to ensure guest requirements are met. They build guest loyalty by providing exemplary customer service. This role is critical in ensuring that our shelves are stocked and that our store is ready for the morning and day ahead. To thrive in this position, you should be a team player who supports those around you, has the drive to grow into leadership, and can inspire others.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year; desire to become a Non-union Team Leader.
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification or Licensing Required: CPR.
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds.
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age.


Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety as the top priority for team members, guests, and products.
  • Cultivate a foodie culture by sharing passion for food with team members and guests.
  • Perform all functions of a Team Leader in their absence, when necessary.
  • Direct team members using work lists and oversee training of new and current team members.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Prepare products for stocking, including handling pallets and pricing as necessary.
  • Manage department orders, monitor inventory, and utilize automated systems to reduce out-of-stocks and shrink.
  • Provide excellent guest service, respond to inquiries, and coach team members on service standards.
  • Build relationships with guests, vendors, and suppliers to enhance product assortment.
  • Follow sampling, suggestive selling, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment adhering to health and OSHA standards.
  • Complete audits, incident checklists, and self-assessments to meet standards.
  • Follow work methods following 6s principles and maintain records for inventory and profits.
  • Use company applications and attend daily team huddles.
  • Adhere to all laws, policies, and report incidents as required.
  • React appropriately to emergency situations.
