Job Description
- Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year; desire to become a Non-union Team Leader
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Required: CPR
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety for team members, guests, and products in all tasks.
- Cultivate a passion for food among team members and guests.
- Perform all team leader functions in their absence when needed.
- Guide team members using work lists, oversee and evaluate training for new and current team members.
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
- Prepare products for stocking by unpacking pallets, cutting cases, and pricing as necessary.
- Manage department orders, monitor inventory, and oversee stocking and receiving using available tools and systems. Participate in reducing out-of-stocks and shrinkage.
- Provide excellent guest service, understand and implement guest service initiatives, and respond to product inquiries and special requests.
- Contribute to building the store's product assortment by fostering relationships with guests, vendors, and suppliers.
- Follow sampling and suggestive selling guidelines and merchandising initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, exceeding health and OSHA standards.
- Complete self-assessments, pass audits, and perform incident prevention checks.
- Follow work methods and update them as needed following 6s standards.
- Track inventories and work processes to calculate monthly gross profits per company policy.
- Use company applications and resources effectively, including GE Central, RTM system, and email.
- Participate in daily team huddles and communicate effectively.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, reporting any violations.
- React to emergency situations appropriately, utilizing the help chain as needed.
