Job summary

Price Rite in Buffalo, NY is hiring an Assistant Night Crew Chief. The role monitors pricing, stocking, facing, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery area to present a clean, well-stocked store image.

You will support the night crew and management while developing multi-department skills for long-term growth. This position requires English fluency, basic math, physical ability to stand, lift up to 60 lbs, and the capability to operate standard store equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to bend and reach.
• Lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
• Operate a Telxon device.
• Push/pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and company policies.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and dress code.
• Observe shift operating hours as scheduled or assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to local, state and federal health and civil code regulations.
• Ensure items are clearly and correctly priced and signed.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and proper stocking.
• Maintain proper shelf allocations for maximum sales and profit.
• Follow sanitation schedule as directed by night crew supervisor.
• Assist with unloading trucks as necessary.
• Operate power equipment as required.
• Handle cash and use register for night crew tasks.
• Use store security systems and keys per company policies.
• Complete Company Food Safety Certification training as required.
