Price Rite of Hyde Park is seeking an Assistant Night Crew Chief to supervise pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise, ensuring a clean, well-stocked store image. The role supports a fast-paced grocery environment and requires strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include price integrity, shelf maintenance, and adherence to company policies. The position offers opportunity for growth within Price Rite’s store team and cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic Math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to do the job while standing.
• Ability to bend and reach.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to operate a Telxon.
• Ability to push/pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise in the grocery area to convey a clean, attractive image.
• Perform other duties as required depending upon workloads and scheduling.
• Observe store rules and company policies.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and observe dress code.
• Adhere to hours as scheduled by supervisor.
• Promote customer satisfaction with clearly priced items.
• Rotate products in storage and on display to ensure freshness.
• Maintain shelf allocations for maximum sales and profit.
