Job summary

ShopRite of Absecon is hiring a Night Crew Clerk to unload and process deliveries in the Grocery Department. You will maintain a neat, clean department and provide prompt customer service, while following safety and productivity guidelines.

The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and working a night schedule. Eligibility for benefits such as vision, dental, life insurance and a pension plan is noted.

Qualifications

• The minimum requirements include reading, writing and understanding English.
• Basic math ability is required.
• Candidates must be able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with customers in a helpful manner and cooperate with others.
• Compliance with safety rules and departmental policies is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience while unloading and processing deliveries.
• Keep the Grocery Department neat, clean and visually appealing.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, pricing, stocking and restocking products.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with all health and safety standards.
• Attend to price checks, product location, and general department duties as assigned.
