Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Calhoun City, MS is hiring a Full-Time Night Cook to prepare meals for patients and staff. The Night shift runs 10:00pm–6:45am with open availability preferred and a starting pay of $14.50 per hour.

You’ll follow standardized recipes, ensure food safety, and assist with production planning and equipment operation. At least 1 year of cook experience is preferred, and you’ll join a team committed to quality, care, and community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work 10:00pm–6:45am schedule.
• Willingness to work full-time shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals and prepares for delivery with proper portioning and temperature.
• Uses ticket procedures and maintains service-area records.
• Cleans and stores kitchen items per safety standards.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, ordering, and receiving of supplies.
